Qualifications Explained

Tavcom works closely with all sectors of the security industry to promote the vital Continual Professional Development (CPD) requirements of its members.

BTEC Specialist and BTEC Professional qualifications are designed to give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that they need to prepare for employment, as well as provide career development opportunities for those already in work.

Qualifications are set at different levels to align with the requirements of employers and learners alike. Our range of qualifications allow you to develop a purposeful and meaningful combination of knowledge and skills, to positively enter or progress a specific sector or career journey.
